History of Jumping Jacks

  • Jumping Jacks began as a division of Vassey-Bristol Shoe Company in 1947 in Rochester, NY
  • In 1965, Jumping Jacks was bought by US Shoe Corporation in Cincinnati, OH
  • In 1990, Jumping Jacks was acquired by the Munro Corporation based in Hot Springs, AR

For 60 years, Jumping Jacks has been committed to making quality children shoes based on the premise that kids feet come in all shapes and sizes.


We go the extra mile. Our goal is to make shoes that feel great from the very first moment they are placed on your child’s feet. We add features like leather cushioned insoles, and full leather linings on most of our shoes to insure that your child’s feet stay cool and dry.


We engineer our shoes specifically for children, and not patterns that are taken down from adult styles. From baby’s first steps until adolesence, you can depend on Jumping Jacks to develop age appropriate footwear that is just right for your child.
